On 28 April 2026, Pakistani military forces carried out missile attacks on Khas Kunar district, Kunar, bordering Pakistan's Upper Mohmand area (Mohmand, KPK), destroying civilian homes and livestock and displacing hundreds of families. As a result of Pakistani attacks in Khas Kunar and Sar Kani (coded separately) districts, at least 3 civilians were killed and 12 others were injured. 3 fatalities were split across the two events. 2 fatalities coded to this event.
