Around 27 April 2026 (as reported), in Rio Mayo (La Union, Narino), suspected FARC dissidents detonated an explosive device on the Rio Mayo Bridge, in the border area between Cauca and Narino departments, partially damaging the infrastructure. The road was shut down while authorities rule out the presence of explosive cylinders on the road. There were no casualties.
