On 26 April 2026, in Loma La Maria sector (Corinto, Cauca), suspected FARC dissidents attacked a military base with drones loaded with explosives on the Corinto - Miranda road. Military officers responded to the attack by firing at the suspects, sparking a clash. The attack followed a series of attacks by FARC dissidents in the Cauca and Valle del Cauca departments (coded separately). There were no casualties.
