It is reported that the Military Council carried out an airstrike near the Mone Chaung Bridge in Kyindwe, located in the Kanpetlet Township of Chin State—an area under martial law—killing at least 9 civilians.

At approximately 10:15 AM today, April 29, a single jet fighter launched from the Tada-U Air Base bombed the area near the Mone Chaung Bridge in Kyindwe.

The airstrike resulted in at least 9 civilian deaths and left at least 3 others with severe injuries.
