An explosion has occurred at a gate in Tensta. An extensive police operation has been launched in northern Stockholm.
At 11 a.m. on Monday, police announced that a 15-year-old boy had been arrested overnight.
An unknown object has exploded in Tensta, northwest of Stockholm. According to police, a gate has been blown up. The gate has reportedly sustained limited damage.
No injuries have been reported.
– At half past ten we received a large number of calls from the public about an explosion, says Ola Österling, press spokesperson for the Stockholm police.
On Monday, police announced that a 15-year-old boy was arrested overnight. He is now being held on suspicion of involvement in the bombing.

Bomb disposal experts were called to the scene. A preliminary investigation into public danger and a serious violation of the Explosives and Flammable Goods Act has been initiated.
The police wrote on their website at 11:30 p.m. that they are analyzing surveillance footage and conducting person checks in the area.
