On April 30, Police arrested Arshdeep Singh and Tarsem Singh, recovering 4.108 kilograms of heroin, two 9mm Glock pistols, two .30 bore pistols (China-made) and five live cartridges in Amritsar District of Punjab, reports The Tribune. A case was registered at Cantonment PS under Sections 21-B, 21-C, 29 NDPS Act and Section 25 Arms Act. Further investigations are in progress.|On April 30, Police arrested Lovepreet Singh of Jandiala Guru with six kilograms of heroin near Adda Manawala on the Amritsar-Jalandhar GT Road in Punjab, reports The Tribune. Director General of Polie (DGP) Gaurav Yadav stated he was acting at the behest of Dubai-based handler Antarpreet Singh.
