At least five people were injured after the Afghan Taliban allegedly shelled and targeted civilian populations in border areas adjacent to Angoor Adda in the South Waziristan District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on April 29, reports The Express Tribune. A mortar shell fired from the Afghan side struck the house of residents Karim Khan and Rehmatullah, resulting in injuries to five individuals, including children. Five individuals, including four children and one woman, were injured. The injured children are aged 13, 10, 8, and 3 years old.
