Air Delivered event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Spinwam, North Waziristan District area, Pakistan on Mon 27th April 2026

Three children were injured when the residence of a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader, Malik Liaquat Ali Khan, was targeted with a suspected quadcopter strike in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the evening of April 27, reports Dawn. The attack occurred at around 8pm when children were playing in the courtyard of the house. A quadcopter, reportedly arriving from an unknown direction, dropped explosives at the house, triggering a blast that damaged the structure. The injured included Malik Liaquat Ali Khan’s son and his two nephews. Malik Liaquat Ali Khan, a District leader of PML-N and former candidate for PK-103, was not present in the courtyard at the time of the attack. Family members said that the women and other relatives escaped unhurt.
