Three persons including two women sustained injuries when Afghan Taliban fired artillery shells at Zalulkhel area in South Waziristan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on April 26, reports Dawn. Pakistan authorities said that the posts were destroyed after Afghan Taliban fired at civilians and left three persons including two women injured. Three persons including Rahimullah, his wife, and the wife of Zainullah were wounded when Afghan Taliban fired an artillery shell at Zalulkhel area, they added. Security sources said that Afghan Taliban had been making attempts to help a group of terrorists cross into Pakistan. They, however, said that due to the prompt action by military, every infiltration attempt was thwarted. Out of frustration, following several failed attempts to infiltrate into Pakistan, Afghan Taliban targeted civilian population in Angoor Adda today, they said. Security Forces destroy posts of attackers in Afghanistan.
