SAA event in Chittagong, Hat Shamsher Para area of ??Ishanbhatt in Kadalpur Union of Raozan Upazila (Sub-District area, Bangladesh on Sun 26th April 2026

On April 26, Nasir Uddin (45), a Jubo Dal activist, affiliated to Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), succumbed to injuries after getting shot in a random shooting by unknown armed miscreants in Hat Shamsher Para area of ??Ishanbhatt in Kadalpur Union of Raozan Upazila (Sub-District) in Chittagong District, reports Prothom Alo. Chittagong North District Jubo Dal, Vice President Saber Sultan said, "The shot Nasir is a Jubo Dal activist. He was brutally shot by terrorists. Although he was taken to the hospital in an injured condition, he could not be saved. We demand the arrest of those involved in this incident and take initiatives to stop terrorist activities in Raozan."|On April 24, a Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) supporter named Kausaruzzaman (36) was shot dead from behind in Alikhil village of Ward No. 9 of the Upazila (Sub-District) Municipality in Raozan Upazila in Chittagong District, reports Prothom Alo. Shooting incidents are frequent in Raozan. Most of the casualties are associated with BNP politics.
