The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists launched an attack on Daraban Police Station in Dera Ismail Khan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the night of April 24, using rocket launchers and heavy firing, damaging the building and nearby commercial centres, reports Dawn. According to Police, the terrorists carried out a sudden assault on the Police Station late at night. During the attack, the terrorists allegedly used rocket launchers, causing a boundary wall of the Police Station to collapse. Several business outlets adjacent to the Police Station also suffered severe damage due to the intensity of the attack. Police personnel retaliated and managed to repel the assault after an exchange of fire. Terrorists fled the scene after facing resistance from the Police. No loss of life was reported in the incident.
