Two Police personnel, including a female constable, were killed while Additional Station House Officer (SHO) and constable Najeebullah sustained injuries when a Police team came under heavy gunfire during an operation to arrest wanted suspects in the Bajoi Khandozai area of Baghbana sub-tehsil (revenue unit) in Khuzdar District of Balochistan on April 20, reports Dawn. The deceased were identified as Lady Constable Malik Naz and Constable Sami Ullah while the injured were additional SHO Ibrahim Sheikh and Constable Najeebullah. Officials said the slain constable is believed to be the first woman Police officer from the area to be killed in the line of duty.
