On April 20, unidentified miscreants hurled bullets and bombs at a Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) worker identified as Mukul Hossain (55), on Saharbati-Bhatpara Road in Gangni Upazila (Sub-District) of Meherpur District, reports Prothom Alo. Police stated that at Bhatpara intersection, a group of miscreants fired several bullets at Mukul, leaving him in critical condition and later detonated several bombs and quickly left the scene.
