On April 18, an Army Agni veer was injured in a landmine explosion during an area domination patrol near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Balakot area of Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. The injured soldier was shifted to the hospital, and his condition was stated to be “stable”. Officials stated that forward areas under the anti-infiltration obstacle system remain dotted with landmines, which sometimes get displaced due to rain.
