SAA event in Punjab, Ludhiana District area, India on Sat 18th April 2026

On April 18, Police arrested two suspected aides, identified as Harsdeep Singh alias Billa and Kulwinder Singh alias Kida of Canada-based gangster Davinderpal Singh alias Gopi Lahoria in Ludhiana District of Punjab, and recovered illegal arms, including two .32 bore pistols, four magazines and four cartridges reports Hindustan Times. The accused, were intercepted at a checkpoint on the Ludhiana–Ferozepur Road. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ankur Gupta stated that the duo was planning a targeted attack in Ludhiana on Lahoria’s directions. Acting on intelligence inputs, Police teams laid a blockade and apprehended them. Further investigation is underway to identify other associates.
