One Army personnel was killed when the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres targeted a military checkpoint at the Kinechi area of Kolwah tehsil (revenue unit) in Awaran District of Balochistan on April 17, reports Zrumbesh. While claiming responsibility of the attack, BLF ‘spokesperson’ Major Gwahram Baloch said cadres from other units attacked the checkpoint with automatic and heavy weapons, inflicting casualties and material damage on the Army.
