According to Karen military sources, the Kabawtu military base of the terrorist Military Council, located in Lu Thaw Township, Hpapun District—within the Karen National Union (KNU) Brigade 5 territory—was successfully attacked and captured yesterday by joint forces of the KNLA, KNDO, and PDF allies.

During the battle to capture the Kabawtu base yesterday, the joint forces seized between 15 and 20 small arms, along with 2 general-purpose machine guns (GPMG) and one 60mm mortar from the terrorist military.

Additionally, the joint forces captured hundreds of landmines and hand grenades, as well as RPG rounds, other ammunition, and a large quantity of military equipment.
