Mali 🇲🇱 | On April 30th, around 5:00 AM, several dozen terrorists from the Katiba Gourma (JNIM) attacked the Kessingui camp in Hombori (Douentza, Mopti). 🔴 According to initial reports, there were no casualties because the Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) abandoned the camp before the terrorists arrived. 🔵 The camp was completely looted and burned. The terrorists paraded through the camp (📽️ see comment). ⚠️ Hombori is located on a strategic axis between Sévaré (Mopti) and Gao, and the capture of the camp risks limiting the arrival of reinforcements in the event of an attack on Gao.
