Following the attack on the LIB 411 joint outpost, which was stationed at the Aung Chan Thar Ywa Thit monastery in Lewe Township on April 22, the terrorist military has been daily dropping 500-pound bombs on villages in the northern Thandaung region using aircraft and launching massive ground columns.

There have been civilian casualties due to the military's bombing attacks, though the exact number has not yet been confirmed. Currently, because large military columns are entering the area on the ground, entire villages are fleeing to escape.
