Local residents told the Yangon Khit Thit news agency that the terrorist military stationed near Nanya village, Hpakant Township, Kachin State, opened fire, resulting in the death of 1 female traveler and injury to 1 civilian.

On April 24, it is reported that the terrorist military opened fire with guns near Nanya village at a vehicle traveling to Hpakant from the Kamaing-Hpakant road section.

During the terrorist military's attack, the car was hit by bullets, killing 1 woman and causing serious gunshot wounds to 1 man. The terrorist military has been continuously carrying out military operations using the Hpakant-Nanya-Kamaing road section.
