Konotop was under Russian attack - residential buildings, a hospital, administrative buildings, and a tram network were damaged in the city; all transport has now been stopped, and 5 people are known to have been injured.

Direct speech from the head of Konotop : "Explosion after explosion... We have damage to residential buildings... We have damage to the tram network! Temporarily (until restoration) tram number 2 will not run to "Zhytlomasyv"!".

Details : He later added that administrative buildings and the central district hospital were damaged.

"A pair of "Shaheeds" over the city already! All transport in the city has been suspended!", wrote Semenikhin.

Updated : Later, the mayor reported that "part of the energy infrastructure" in Konotop had been destroyed, resulting in a power outage in part of the city.

"In one of the microdistricts, water supply will be carried out according to the schedule 6-9, 18-21," Semenikhin reported.

He later added that 4 residents were injured.

"One of them is in moderate condition, now doctors are fighting for his health in the operating room. A man born in 1969," Semenikhin said.

The State Emergency Service later reported 5 victims.

"Russian drones attacked the city of Konotop. Previously, 5 people were injured. Private residential buildings, hospital premises, administrative buildings, a civil infrastructure facility, and cars were damaged. Fires broke out. Due to the threat of repeated air attacks, rescuers temporarily stopped work. Despite this, firefighters eliminated all sources of combustion," the State Emergency Service reported.
