On 24 April 2026, at night, according to Ukrainian sources, Russian forces carried out two drone strikes at the international vessel under the Saint Kitts and Nevis state flag in the Black Sea (coded to Western Black Sea). The vessel was bound for one of the ports in Odesa region to load the grain when it was struck by Russian drones. As a result, a fire broke out on board and the navigation system failed. The crew extinguished the fire. Furthermore, a Ukrainian boat was sent to escort the vessel. There were no casualties.
