UAV event in Ukraine on Fri 24th April 2026

On 24 April 2026, at night and during the day, Russian Forces conducted a combination of air, drone, and artillery strikes at the residential areas in Kherson city, Kherson. In a strike at 7:00am, a drone struck a moped, killing 2 civilians (man and woman) on the spot. In the strikes at 8:20am, 10:15am, 10:20am and 19:00pm, the Russian drones (in separate drone strikes) struck two cars, injuring 2 civilians (aged 72 and 56). 2 more civilian men (aged 56 and 62) were also injured Dniprovskyi district and central Kherson, all admitted to a hospital. Also, a Russian drone dropped an explosive device on 3 volunteers who received fragmentation wounds. During the attacks on Antonivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Novodmytrivka, Dniprovske, Honcharne, Kizomys, Yantarne, Sofiivka, Poniativka, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Kyselivka, Tomaryne, Beryslav, Chervone, Novoraisk, Novovorontsovka, Khreshchenivka, Burhunka, Dudchany, Lvove, Mykhailivka, Novooleksandrivka, Olhivka, Sablukivka, Tiahynka, Vesele, Kozatske and the city of Kherson: objects of critical and social infrastructure, a high-rise building and 4 private houses were damaged. 4 civilians were killed (all 4 coded to Kherson) and 17 civilians more were injured (2 coded to Bilozerka, 2 in Komyshany and 13 coded to Kherson city).
