On 20 April 2026, in the morning, Russian forces carried out drone strikes at the residential areas Zaporizhia city and Zaporizkyi district, Zaporizhia city. As a result, 2 civilians were killed and 4 more injured, including a 10-year-old child, as well as 6 more civilians in the Zaporizkyi district. Moreover, 49 private houses in the Shevchenkivskyi and Kosmichne urban districts were damaged. A regional military administration received 83 reports of damage to infrastructure, housing and cars in the Zaporizhia region.
