On 19 April 2026, in Toungup township (Thandwe district, Rakhine state), the Myanmar military fired heavy weapons from navy ships toward the villages and mountain areas after being attacked by the Arakan Army (ULA/AA) with heavy weapons while attempting to land at the shore near Kyauk Ni Maw village of Ramree township (coded separately).
