On 21 April 2026, near Si Yin U village (coded as Salin) (Salin township, Minbu district, Magway region), the combined troops of the People's Defense Force - Minbu District Battalion - 5, the Salin Urban Guerrilla Force and the People's Brother - Salin intercepted and attacked a column of around 20 Myanmar military and Pyu Saw Htee members that were patrolling near a pavillion with three mines. Some military and Pyu Saw Htee members were injured.
