On 23 April 2026, near Chaung Wa village (Pauk township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted air strikes and dropped bombs 11 times with five fighter jets that came from Magway airbase, Meiktila airbase and Tada-U airbase around 11 am which fell and exploded at the huts where the IDPs were staying and the huts were destroyed. There were no casualties.
