On 22 April 2026, in Won Ka Lay (Sar Chaung) village (coded as Letpadan) (Letpadan township, Thayarwady district, Bago-West region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped bombs with two fighter jets without an armed clash occurring around 11:30 am. A 15-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy, a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man who were working at the local fishing industry were killed and 6 civilians were injured. 3 houses were damaged. 4 fatalities.
