On 18 April 2026, near Kyee Kan village (coded as Kyee Kan (North)) (Natmauk township, Magway district, Magway region), the Beikthano Defense Force attacked a column of around 200 Myanmar military soldiers with mines around 7:45 am. The Beikthano Defense Force attacked the Myanmar military troops with two mines again around 12:26 pm. 5 military soldiers were killed and at least ten were severely injured and the military troops retreated to Nyaung Kone village in Pyawbwe township. 5 fatalities.
