On 22 April 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike in At Tiri town (Bint Jbeil, Al Nabatieh), killing two individuals in a vehicle. Two journalists who were in a vehicle behind the targeted individuals took cover in a building and were targeted in another strike. Following that, the Lebanese Red Cross was dispatched to the scene to help evacuate the injured journalists, and the Israeli army attacked the vehicle with gunfire and a stun grenade. Journalist Amal Khalil was killed, and another journalist who was with her was injured. Total fatalities coded as 3.
