Locals reported that a military drone attack on a school in Musoe Chon village, Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, on the afternoon of April 23 injured 10 students and one teacher, totaling 11 casualties.

A local villager stated: "Three drones came and dropped bombs. They targeted the school directly. Because of that, three male students, seven female students, and one teacher were injured. Out of those 11, three are in critical condition and we are worried for their lives."

It is also reported that there were no armed groups present at the Musoe Chon school and no fighting had occurred in the vicinity; the military conducted the drone strike without provocation.
