Locals reported that the military council has been conducting airstrikes for two consecutive days around Ngapali in Thandwe Township, Rakhine State.

A local man from Thandwe stated that starting around 1:00 PM today, the military council began bombing the Ngapali area with six jet fighters. Continuous reconnaissance by Y-12 aircraft has forced residents to hide in bomb shelters.
