Locals reported that a military junta jet fighter bombed the Zin Gyi Kone forest huts near Saung Tan village in Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, on April 21, killing one woman and injuring two men.
Around 11:40 PM yesterday, four jet fighters originating from Tada-U and Naypyidaw airbases dropped at least five bombs on the Zin Gyi Kone huts. The bombs exploded on residential huts and inside a goat pen.
Due to the blast, three family members were hit by shrapnel. A 45-year-old woman died from both shrapnel wounds and the resulting fire, while her husband (around 50) and her son (25) sustained shrapnel injuries.
Additionally, 10 cows and 25 goats were killed. Two tractors and five houses were destroyed, while one goat pen, one house, and one motorcycle were consumed by fire.
