A double homicide occurred in the early hours in the Las Estrellas and Las Colinas neighborhoods, specifically at the intersection of Carrera 36 and Calle 84, where a stepfather and stepson were shot while working at their broasted chicken business. The victims were identified as Rolando Enrique Jiménez, 37 years old, who died at the scene, and his stepson, Jaime Júnior, who was rushed to a nearby medical center but later succumbed to his injuries. According to preliminary investigations, authorities suspect the attack may be linked to extortion attempts in the area.
