A group of armed men pulled up in a vehicle and opened fire on several people at the intersection of Gómez Rendón and Guerrero Valenzuela, in southwest Guayaquil, Ecuador. Three victims were killed instantly at the scene, while another three later died in hospitals after being transported. The shootout spilled across at least two blocks as people desperately tried to flee. Security footage captured the chaos, including one man who narrowly survived by hiding under a silver car.
