In Hpakant Township, Kachin State, two local residents, including a three-year-old child, were killed by heavy artillery fire from the military junta, according to local revolutionary forces.

Yesterday (April 19), artillery shells fired by the junta forces stationed at the Hpakant Strategic Hill struck Malan Village in the Lone Khin village tract and Mhaw Lakkin Village, killing a child and a local man.
