Drones have reportedly attacked Russia’s Ural Oblast for the first time, covering a record distance of 1,800 kilometers, according to Exilenova Plus. Videos of the flight path and aftermath of the strikes are being shared online.

During a UAV attack on Yekaterinburg, the residential complex “Trinity” in the city center was damaged, and six people were injured. It remains unclear whether the residential building was deliberately targeted, as there are no obvious military facilities nearby.

The Russians are capable of using electronic warfare tools to correct the path of drones.

Residents of Yekaterinburg expressed shock that drones reached their city, with some calling for peace in social media comments, Sternenko reports.

- “I really want a peaceful and developing life, not to live in fear that something might hit my home.”

- “Ukrainian drones attacked the Urals. The Urals, Karl!”

- “That’s it! Our country is total bottom. Hitler didn’t even reach the Urals.”

Such reactions are strange to Ukrainians, who have been living under war conditions for the last 12 years.

This is reported as the first strike on infrastructure in Yekaterinburg since drone attacks on Russian rear territory began.

Residents also claim that no air-raid warning or alert was issued by local authorities or the Interior Ministry.

They further complain that Ukrainian drones do not require “corridors from the Baltic states” and can penetrate Russian territory independently.

The presidential envoy to the Ural Federal District, Artem Zhoga, has confirmed that Ural regions are now within reach of UAV strikes.

Drone attacks were also reported in the Chelyabinsk Oblast overnight. The regional governor stated that an attempted UAV strike on an infrastructure facility was repelled. Russian sources reported explosions near the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant.

Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed that 127 Ukrainian drones were intercepted overnight, including over Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk oblasts.
