In Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, an attack on soldiers who came out to search for mines and collect extortion money resulted in three deaths from the terrorist military side, an official from the BRAVE HEART ARMY (BHA) told Khit Thit Media.

On April 15 at approximately 10:00 AM, about 20 terrorist soldiers traveling in a light truck from the Mon Yway toll gate in Monywa Township to clear mines and collect extortion were intercepted by revolutionary forces at a location on the Monywa-Chaung-U road.

The engagement lasted only about 25 minutes. One Pyu Saw Htee militia member and two police officers from the terrorist military side were killed, and three others were injured. On the revolutionary side, one comrade sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
