Police were alerted that a 24-year-old man stood outside a family home holding a hand grenade with the safety removed and threatening police. His mother and sister were inside the house. Officers secured the scene, deployed negotiators and the gendarmerie, and neutralised the threat when the suspect surrendered the explosive device. The man was arrested and taken for criminal processing.
