SAA event in Republika Srpska, Bratunac area, Bosnia and Herzegovina on Sat 11th April 2026

Police officers attempted to stop a vehicle driven by the suspect, who failed to comply with a clear police signal and continued driving. A minor was in the front passenger seat. During the pursuit, the suspect threw a white bag out of the vehicle window. It was later established that the bag contained one firearm, an M57 rifle, caliber 7.62 mm, and 75 rounds of ammunition of the same caliber. Curt-ordered searches of the individual's residence and vehicle and recovered green plant material resembling marijuana. The individual was arrested and will be charged with illegal production/possession/trafficking of weapons/explosives and illegal production/trafficking of narcotics.
