To Remove Immediate Threat to Our Forces in Southern Lebanon: Israel Defense Forces Eliminate Infiltrators Who Breached Forward Defense Line

The combat team forces of the 7th Brigade, under the 36th Division, are operating in southern Lebanon, south of the forward defense line, to prevent a direct threat to northern communities.

Yesterday (Tuesday), the forces identified two infiltrators in the Saluki area who violated the ceasefire understandings, breached the forward defense line, and approached the forces in a manner that posed an immediate threat.

Following the detection and rapid closure of the targeting circle, the Air Force executed a strike that eliminated the infiltrators with the aim of removing the threat.

In parallel, the 7th Brigade's combat team continues to destroy Hezbollah-affiliated infrastructure and locate combat means.

The Israel Defense Forces will continue to operate to cleanse the area under its control to remove any threat to the citizens of the State of Israel and its forces.
