On the night of April 21, the Russian occupiers carried out a massive drone strike on Sumy - they hit a medical facility and damaged houses; 15 people were injured in the attack, including 3 children.

Kobzar's direct speech : "The enemy continues to attack our city. A series of explosions were heard. More than 5 hits were recorded in one of the residential areas of the Zarechny district. Windows in residential buildings were broken, cars are burning."


Details : According to the mayor, there is a hit to the roof of one of the healthcare facilities.

In turn, the head of the Sumy MVA, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, reported four injured people.

Direct speech by Kryvosheyenko : "As a result of the nighttime enemy attack on Sumy, 4 people were previously injured, including a 17-year-old child: she and two men were hospitalized. Another person was provided with assistance on the spot."

Updated: Later, the Sumy regional police reported that 6 people were injured as a result of a hostile attack in Sumy.

"Currently, at least 6 victims are known, including a 17-year-old child. Data on other victims is being clarified. The extent of the damage is being established," law enforcement officials noted.

Later, the head of the OVA, Oleg Grigorov, reported that the number of victims had increased to 15.

"15 residents of Sumy were injured as a result of a night attack by enemy UAVs. Among the wounded are three children: girls aged 13, 15, and 17. They are hospitalized, and doctors are providing the necessary assistance. Most of those injured as a result of the night attack by Russian drones are elderly people," said Grigorov.
