A night of terror in Puebla. An armed group unleashed a hail of bullets in the Lomas 5 de Mayo neighborhood, where gunmen fired bursts of heavy weaponry and set two vehicles ablaze in the middle of the street in the early morning hours. The direct attack caused panic among residents, who reported the gunfire and the burning vehicles. Despite the violence of the operation and the scale of the shootout, no one was killed or injured at the scene. The streets were littered with fire and spent shell casings as the criminals managed to escape before law enforcement arrived. The area remains under surveillance following this latest episode of drug-related violence that has shaken the city of Puebla.
