Four armed criminals unleashed terror at La Esquina del Ahorro store in the Salvador Allende neighborhood of Coronel. The criminals burst in shouting "Everyone on the ground!" and held a gun directly to the owner's head, threatening to riddle her with bullets if she didn't hand over a safe that didn't even exist. While the employees were held captive under death threats, the gang emptied the shelves and cash registers, making off with 5 million pesos in cash and designer handbags.
