SAA event in Odesa area, Ukraine on Tue 21st April 2026

On April 21, in Odessa, the Security Service of Ukraine detained servicemen from one of the district territorial recruitment and social support centers, who were caught taking a bribe. The Odessa Regional CCC and SP confirmed the detention.

Details : As reported by "Dumska", the detention of CCC employees on Balkivska Street was accompanied by a chase and shooting.

According to unofficial information, CCC employees were detained for taking a bribe. One of them allegedly managed to escape, but was detained at the radio market.

According to Duma sources, the man from whom they tried to extort money had contacted the SBU in advance.

According to media reports, during the detention, batons, brass knuckles, and money were found on the CCC employees. Before that, military commissars on two buses had staged a showdown between themselves on Mikhailovskaya Square.

According to open sources, the operation was carried out by the KORD special unit and internal security officers of the SBU.

Updated: According to Duma sources, employees of the Peresypsky RTCC forcibly dragged a former military man, who had an official deferment from service, onto a bus and, threatening him with a weapon, demanded $30,000 from him.

The Odessa Regional CCC and SP officially confirmed the detention of servicemen of one of the district CCC and SP of the city of Odesa by representatives of law enforcement agencies.

It is reported that the leadership of the Odessa Regional CCC and the Joint Venture is ensuring full interaction with authorized law enforcement officers to clarify all the details.
