On the night of April 21, drones from the SBU's Alpha Special Operations Center struck the Samara linear production and dispatching station in Prosvet, Samara Oblast, Russia, causing a fire there, UP sources reported.

Direct language from the UP interlocutor: "According to preliminary data, SBU drones damaged 5 tanks with a capacity of 20 thousand cubic meters of crude oil."

Details : According to the source, this station mixes high- and low-sulfur crude oil from different fields to form the Urals export grade. Therefore, this facility is an important component of Russia's oil transportation infrastructure.

"The damage to such hubs directly reduces Russia's ability to form oil export shipments and fulfill contractual obligations. And this affects the revenues that the Russian Federation can direct to the war against Ukraine," the UP interlocutor said.

At the same time, the Russian publication The Moscow Times reported that Ukraine attacked the Druzhba oil pipeline station in the Samara region of the Russian Federation.

The head of the region, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, wrote about the attack on an "industrial enterprise" , but he did not specify which facility he was referring to.

Rosaviatsia closed the airports of Samara and Ulyanovsk at night.

According to The Moscow Times, the Samara station belongs to Transneft-Druzhba JSC, a branch of Transneft PJSC, which operates the Druzhba oil pipeline.
