#OperationalStrength | In a rural area of ​​the municipality of Santander de Quilichao, #Cauca, troops from the 8th High Mountain Battalion of the #29thBrigade located and destroyed in a controlled manner an improvised explosive device (IED) of the cylinder type, which had been placed on a tertiary road in the Lomitas Arriba village. The device was neutralized by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team, preventing potential harm to troops and the population traveling through this area. The National Army maintains offensive and territorial control operations to neutralize threats and protect the security of communities in northern Cauca.
