IED event in Colombia on Sat 14th March 2026

Troops from the Rapid Deployment Force No. 6 of the Sixth Division of the Colombian Army (@COL_EJERCITO) located and destroyed 15 explosive cylinders in a rural area of ​​Puerto Leguízamo, Putumayo. The devices, loaded with ANFO and shrapnel, had a blast radius of up to 300 meters, posing a serious threat to the civilian population and the security forces. The neutralization was carried out by Army explosive ordnance disposal experts, in coordination with the Colombian Navy (@ArmadaColombia) and the SIJIN (Judicial Police), preventing potential terrorist attacks in the south of the country.
