On 17 April 2026, in the morning, Russian forces carried out drone strikes at the residential areas in the Kyivskyi, Slobidskyi, Osnovyanskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of Kharkiv city, Kharkiv. 1 civilian was injured. Moreover, a civilian enterprise was damaged and a fire broke out at the residential area. Additionally, a tank containing beet molasses was damage causing the liquid to spill over the surrounding area and could have entered the city's water bodies.
