On 16 April 2026, Russian forces conducted missile and drone attacks on Kyiv - Obolonskyi, Kyiv City. Warehouses, a tire shop, office buildings, and a store were damaged. Ambulance workers and police who responded to attacks on the district were injured during a double-tap strike. 9 people were wounded and two, private guards, killed. During attacks on Kyiv -Podilskyi, Kyiv - Obolonskyi, Kyiv - Desnianskyi, and Kyiv - Dniprovskyi, a DTEK facility was damaged and an employee was injured. 62 civilians were injured in total during these attacks.
